Healthway Health Policies Booklet

This booklet provides guidelines for Healthway funded organisations in developing, promoting, monitoring and reviewing their health policies. Organisations applying for grants and sponsorships from healthway may be required to have a written health policy in place as a condition of funding. Check the application forms for detalils.

How will a health policy benefit your organisation?

• It demonstrations an organisttion's commitment to the health of members, spectators and participants.
• An organisation promoting health will appeal to a broader community interest.
• Parent fee reassured when children are involved in organisations where they are less likely to be exposed to unhelathy environments.
• An organisation that promotes helath is more attractive to sponsors.
